Settings for using our Pen Pals E-Mail with an E-Mail Program

The settings for e-mail programs are below. All e-mail programs are different so the correct setting for one will not work in another. Try the settings in the same order as they are shown below, beginning with option 1. Please also make sure to specify Reply-To address.

1. Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora 4.x:
   Mail server name (POP and SMTP): mail.projectopenarms.org
   POP account name: anyone@projectopenarms.org
   Password: your mailbox password
   Reply-to address: anyone@projectopenarms.org
   


2. Netscape 4.x, 3.x:
   Mail server name (POP and SMTP): mail.projectopenarms.org
   POP account name: anyone%projectopenarms.org
   SMTP account name: anyone%projectopenarms.org
   Password: your mailbox password
   (check "remember password" to prevent password prompts on every send message command)
   Reply-to address: anyone@projectopenarms.org
   


3. Eudora 3.x:
   Mail server name (POP and SMTP): mail.projectopenarms.org
   POP account name: anyone%projectopenarms.org@mail.projectopenarms.org
   Password: your mailbox password
   Reply-to address: anyone@projectopenarms.org
